Carnatic Chamber Concerts (CCC) is a San Francisco Bay Area nonprofit that supports students learning Indian classical Carnatic music. Padma Mohan founded it in January 2009 with twelve students. CCC is a registered 501(c)(3) run entirely by volunteers and donations.
Our mission
CCC promotes Carnatic music among Bay Area youth through monthly events where students from many music schools perform for knowledgeable audiences.
Our format
Each monthly event features about 24 to 28 students, who perform for 5 to 30 minutes depending on age and level. CCC also offers group learning with master artists, showcase performances, special events, workshops and lecture demonstrations.
